Pavan Shah

Pavan was born and raised in Arizona. He studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to attend the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During medical school, he developed a strong interest in neurosurgery, with a particular focus on neuro-oncology. He has pursued both basic and clinical research in neurosurgical oncology, including brain tumor immunotherapy, and was awarded the American Brain Tumor Association Young Investigator Award for his basic science work. Pavan is deeply passionate about advancing patient care through innovation, translational research, and engagement with the broader technology ecosystem. Outside of neurosurgery, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring new cities with friends and family.
